Frequent Asked Questions

The Meeting Place is a swinger’s club like no other. Our members come from all walks of life and explore their sexuality in a safe, discreet and welcoming environment. We provide a space where couples and singles can indulge their passions and explore their desires, free from judgement and stigma.

We are committed to creating an atmosphere of acceptance and respect and ensure that our guests have the best experience possible. We are always happy to answer questions and provide more information, so don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Couples Membership

At TMP, we primarily cater to couples. If you intend to join as a couple, both partners must enter together. Should your relationship status change and you find yourself single, you'll need to obtain a single membership. If you anticipate occasionally participating solo, it's advisable to secure a singles membership from the outset. Furthermore, if you decide to switch partners, a new couples membership is required since you'll be considered a new couple. In essence, if you foresee changing partners or participating alone, a singles membership might be the most versatile option.

First-Time Visitors: What to Expect?

If it's your first time at TMP, expect a warm welcome right at the door. For membership, you'll be asked to fill out a confidential information card and present your ID. This card is crucial for the safety and privacy of all our members. Once registered, our friendly staff will give you a comprehensive tour of the club, answering any questions you might have. Our experienced hosts are here to ensure you have an unforgettable time at TMP.

What Should I Bring to TMP?

When visiting TMP, it's advisable to bring a lock for the lockers to secure your belongings. If you're planning to venture to the play rooms, it's club policy to a change into attire that makes you feel at ease, such as lingerie, nude, or boxers. The club operates on a BYOB principle, so any beverages you'd like to enjoy (responsibly, of course) should be brought by you. Please note that cell phones should be kept in your vehicle. If you need to make or receive a call, kindly step out to your vehicle, as calls within the club premises are not permitted.

What Does TMP Provide?

At TMP, we ensure our guests are well taken care of. We provide cups, ice, and pop for refreshments. On Saturdays, a dinner is served, and for potluck dinners, we take care of the main dish. For your convenience, towels are available for showers and the hot tub. We strongly advocate for safe intimacy, and thus, condoms are provided. Feminine products can also be availed upon request.

Guest Etiquette

At TMP, we believe in a no-pressure environment. Participation in any activity is entirely up to you, and a simple "no thank you" is always enough. If you're thinking of bringing guests, another couple or single female should call ahead like any new member. For single males, please check with the club first regarding availability. They should accompany you throughout the visit. While we love when our members spread the word about TMP, we request that you don't disclose our exact location. Instead, share our phone number (269) 657-4072 or our website, meetingplacemichigan.com, to maintain the privacy of our community.

Setting Boundaries as a Couple:

It's essential for couples to discuss and set rules before engaging in the TMP experience. Determine your comfort levels, specific activities, and always communicate openly with your partner. Decide on the type of interactions you're comfortable with, whether it's full swap, soft swap, or just being observed. Once you've established your boundaries, stick to them and be transparent with others about your preferences. Remember, it's your experience, and you should never feel pressured to change your rules for anyone else.

Getting Involved and Helping Out:

If you're looking to be more involved with TMP, there are several ways to contribute. Being friendly to new members, leaving reviews, promoting TMP through personal channels, participating in group chats, and even simple acts like cleaning up after yourselves can make a significant difference. Our staff and hosts, who are deeply passionate about TMP and the lifestyle, are always appreciative of members who help foster a welcoming and clean environment.

Social Tips:

Feeling a bit nervous or shy? Don't hesitate to approach our staff or host couples. They can introduce you to some of our regular members, making mingling a breeze. When it comes to attire, we suggest dressing to impress while staying comfortable. While theme parties are optional, participating can enhance your experience

Bringing Someone Along:

If you're considering introducing another couple or single female to TMP, they should call ahead like any new member. For single males, please check with the club first regarding availability. Single males should accompany you throughout the visit, arriving and leaving with you. If you believe there might be complications, it's recommended that they undergo our application and interview process. More details can be found on our singles page.

Dealing with Jealousy

Jealousy is a natural emotion that can arise in such environments. If you or your partner experience it, it's essential to communicate openly about the triggers and feelings. Sometimes, minor adjustments in behavior or understanding can alleviate these feelings. Remember, your primary relationship's health and understanding are paramount. If jealousy becomes overwhelming or persistent, it might be worth reconsidering if this lifestyle aligns with your relationship's dynamics. Always prioritize open dialogue with your partner.
