For the Newbies!!

Hello, All! I came across this place one day while looking for like-minded adults who like to have fun. I'm interested to join but I'm a bit skeptical without "proof of life". I'd like to start a thread to ease that fear. I'm proposing that this be a safe place for potential members to address concerns, ask questions, get advice, and/or meet potential "friends". I think it would be more effective if existing members participated, as you can give us newbies an idea of what to expect. So what do you guys say?! Introduce yourself and see who's interested!
